Women Ministry

Emily Samante Mayianie

National Chair:- FPFK Women Ministry

The Lord has entrusted us to lead the Women Ministry purposely to bring a change for better. When God calls you he makes you go, I believe that by the Grace of God we shall trounce by His mercy and achieve the women aspiration. As the women of FPFK we shall maintain the image and submission of Christ in own homes and in the church according to Titus 2:3-7. A woman is a destiny career and a Helper we are created to birth and nature, this is the character of the noble woman Proverbs 31..

Welcome to Women Ministry Department.

The Women Ministry are in every local and branch church. Women maintain a strong Ministry with each other, serve God through prayer, hospitality and mercy ministries and anyway that the Lord shall lead.

The women ministry team intends to work towards the vision of our church making it a strong Pentecostal church that meets the needs of the society holistically.

As the women of FPFK we shall maintain the image and submission of Christ in own homes and in the church according to Titus 2:3-7. As women Ministry we shall endeavor in teaching women to be submissive and supportive in the church through evangelizing to other fellow women in different ways that will make the church grow in numbers. We believe that the woman is a destiny career, and we are created to help birth and nature, this is the character of the noble woman Proverbs

As the women ministry it is our dream to see women succeed spiritually, socially and financially this can only be achieved when we as FPFK Church invest in empowering our women and girls by advocating for the protection of their rights and give them opportunity to arise as leaders in the Ministry and beyond, with time we long to see more women and girls join and graduate as Pastors from our very own institution, Karen Bible School.

A Word from Pastor Emily Samante Mayianie- National Chair FPFK National women Ministry

National Women Ministry has been growing day by day and we thank God for His faithfulness upon the Women Ministry. The year 2024 has been a difficult one but by God’s grace, we managed to sail through and do various activities that saw the Women Ministry remain strong and active arm of FPFK.

Activities done in 2024

National Women Ministry has been growing day by day and we thank God for His faithfulness upon the Women Ministry. The year 2024 has been a difficult one but by God’s grace, we managed to sail through and do various activities that saw the Women Ministry remain strong and active arm of FPFK.

Prayer and Fasting

This activity takes place every beginning of the year, whereas a National Committee we join together and visit the Heavens Gate prayer Centre for a three-day prayer and fasting. This has been a great strength for us. Together as the Women Ministry, we had prayers and fasting that we did online.

Social Media

Our Social media accounts were active the entire 2024, we have a WhatsApp group that has a total of 272 members that is still growing. On this group, we have been having prayers that are ongoing at 7pm and 3am of everyday. This has built a strong network amongst the women. This group has also healed many broken-hearted women. We pray that it will grow to be a blessing unto many, to nurture the young and strengthen the old.

National Mother’s Week

This is usually done second week of every month annually. It has also been a great step in helping the women realize their potential in the churches and also in the community. During this week, the women do hospitality activities that touch the lives of people in the community. We also visit our pastors and celebrate them for the good work that they have done. This is usually a compulsory event for all the women at the Branch church level.

Leadership trainings

Through the help and support of Women Inclusion in Leadership and Inuka Dada projects, we have been able to hold several leader- ship meetings. This brought women from different denominations to come and resonate together on various concerns of the Women in Leadership and how we can learn from each other. This was a very interactive meeting that helped us learn a lot on investments done by women as a team. We also managed to do another meeting with all the chairladies from all the regions to discuss on how to achieve different targets, resource mobilization and leadership skills. This meeting gave us a platform to also plan for our National Conference, which is tentatively expected to be held in August between 11th – 15th 2025 in Nairobi.

Conclusion

We would like to recognize and appreciate the FPFK General Secretary, National Board, FPFK Head Office Staff, Regional Bishops, Reverends and our Pastors for their continued and immense support that has been given to the Women Ministry.

We thank God for all the FPFK churches for giving us the opportunity to serve and to nurture the Women’s Ministry to where we are. We are forever grateful for such support. As a ministry we appreciate our partners without forgetting Sister Maud Anderson for being an encouragement to the Women Ministry leadership, Lakarmissionen and Inuka Dada for overwhelming support.

In all, we say God bless you and we look forward for more partnership.
