INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR GIRL CHILD

FPFK is actively engaging out-of-school youth, particularly girls, in Turkana County by transforming the narrative surrounding them. We believe that young people can lead fulfilling lives through skills acquisition outside of formal education and training. Our goal is to empower these youth to participate meaningfully in community development and contribute to societal well-being with dignity.

To achieve this, FPFK offers apprenticeship training programs in areas such as hairdressing and tailoring. These initiatives not only uplift young individuals from vulnerable situations but also help them build resilience against the impacts of climate change.
